Leigh-on-Sea UK 2021 - Leigh Old Town in winter

Join us for a walk through our home town of Leigh-on-Sea Essex, filmed on a February 2021 morning. The sound of crisp snow under foot as we explore Leigh-on-Sea Old Town. The cafes, restaurants and cockle sheds may be closed, but the views across the Estuary still beckon, and the people of the town are still walking their dogs and taking the air.

We start the walk in the grounds of St Clement's Church on Church Hill, just off Leigh Broadway. We then head down the cobbled steps of Church Hill to explore historic Old Leigh High Street.

We end our walk on Leigh Marshes with a view back towards the town.

Leigh-on-Sea may be one of the driest towns in Britain, but as you'll see, on this day there was plenty of snow in Essex .
