With an unconventional journey in teaching and research, navigating between accountancy and artificial intelligence has required him to figure out links between the two. Join us in hearing more about how he has managed to reconcile the two via Artificial Intelligence for Data Analytics (AIDA), and the importance of being adaptable in today’s technological climate. Benjamin is a Lecturer of Accounting, Director of Student Matters, and SMU-X Academic Champion at the School of Accountancy, Singapore Management University. His teaching and research interests are in AI and ML for Big Data Analytics adoption, specifically in solving accounting problems including cashflow management, cost allocation, credit risk analysis, financial forecasting, fraud prediction, and inventory control.
