How NOT to repair RGBW SMD LED PARcans (probably)

I was given 10 of these UKing branded RGBW LED PARcans to hopefully repair. I tried several methods, hoping to find the quickest and easiest way that didn't risk damaging the other LEDs.

Cunningham's Law states "the best way to get the right answer on the internet is not to ask a question; it's to post the wrong answer." So here are my multiple attempts at repairing these, hoping to be told the correct method in the comments.
