my first impressions are very positive!

my favorite kind of chaotic multiplayer mayhem. At times I was just standing there mesmerized at all the hollywood flick like mayhem happening around and above me...

looks great, plays great, you can go solo or help comrades

the vehicles are immensely satisfying and fun ways to quickly cover the great distances involved. Choppers, boats, jeeps all control great, with very good VR specific mechanics. even the tank is something to behold, it's not as dumb as it looks on 2D video.

weapons handle great, I like the virtual stock option very much. each different class have their many quirks and special equipment - I tried a few but in the end I always prefer being crazy cannon fodder in assault Lmao

only throwing grenades in VR never feels quite right...

the only VR multiplayer shooter I ever purchased was Contractors - also full-on, unabashed mayhem, plus all the great mod maps. this may well be the next one. I really dislike extraction BS, BR or assymetric crap. this is straight Battlefield

btw, I was brought into this because it is open beta after all and also because I've been playing classic Battlefield 2 from 2005 in winlatorXR. It runs well, it's nice but this definitely has the upper hand in crisp resolution, great performance and ofc full-on VR iteractions, scale and presence like just shoehorning 3D with reShade can't quite do... still, video incoming on that as well.

for Forefront I hope all the best. it's a legit great new VR title...
