Meanwhile back in Paris - the 1978 debut from Western Canada's Streetheart...
Drummer Matt Frenette, never one to let a set of drum fills go to waste, really drives this one. This is close to Metal for the late 70's, with the exception of the vocal style of Kenny Shields.
This is Guitarist Paul Dean's only album appearance in this band he helped found. He would leave to form Loverboy. While a better commercial success, the songs of the 2 bands are very different. Frenette left after the second album and joined Paul to drum for the Loverboy machine.

This entire LP in packed with great musicianship and song writing.
I recommend it.
