According to fresh allegations, Prince Harry is being pressured to make a major choice about the leadership of the Invictus Games.
The Duke of Sussex has been asked to step down from the sporting tournament he established in 2014 for wounded and disabled servicemen.
Despite not being a working royal, Harry has remained intimately associated with the games; nevertheless, some individuals involved with the event now believe he may be too divisive, particularly among the military.
A source told the Daily Mail that, while the Invictus Games are intended to bring people together, Harry's image has grown increasingly divisive.
"The duke has become an increasingly polarising figure, especially among the Armed Forces. "That is not good for Invictus," they stated.
The insider went on: "We are all about bringing people together and inspiring those who have suffered hardship."
"Now, Invictus is firmly established, it might be better if the duke took a step back."
The tipster said that it appears that the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham are also being "used for PR."
They added that the majority of the attention has been focused on whether Royal family members will attend owing to continuing issues between Harry and his bride, Meghan Markle.
