Sakineh was sitting in her cozy hut, preparing a simple and delicious breakfast. The warm aroma of fresh bread and hot tea permeated the hut, and she thought about the peace of these moments. But suddenly, the door opened and Shahab came into the hut.

Surprise and concern were on Sakineh’s face. She asked in a trembling voice, “Where have you been? How did you find me? Why have you come?” Shahab, who looked worried and confused, replied, “You live alone and you don’t care about me anymore. I can’t bear this anymore.”

Sakineh replied firmly, “Shahab, I’m not coming. You go, I’ve chosen this place.” She couldn’t change her feelings easily and stood by her decision. The more Shahab tried to convince her, the more firmly Sakineh responded.

After several unsuccessful attempts, Shahab gave up and said, “If you don’t go, I’ll stay here too.” This sentence was another shock to Sakineh. She knew deep down that her life was no longer in harmony with Shahab, but now with him in the hut, her sense of freedom was at stake.

Sakineh said to herself, “How can I go back to living with someone who no longer inspires hope in my heart?” But now she had to decide: should she change her life for Shahab or could she continue with her new, independent life?

Doubt and hope were mixed in Sakineh’s heart, and she had to find a way to find peace in this crisis. In these moments, she was looking for answers to the questions that still remained unanswered.
