ਜਿਥੈ ਜਾਇ ਬਹੈ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਸੋ ਥਾਨੁ ਸੁਹਾਵਾ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਜੇ ॥
जिथै जाए बहे मेरा सतगुरु, सो थान सुहावा राम राजे ||
Jithe Jaye Bahe Mera Satguru, So Thaan Suhava Ram Raje
(Wherever my True Guru goes and sits, that place is beautiful, O Lord King)

ਗੁਰਸਿਖੀਂ ਸੋ ਥਾਨੁ ਭਾਲਿਆ ਲੈ ਧੂਰਿ ਮੁਖਿ ਲਾਵਾ ॥
गुरसिखी सो थान भालेया लै धूर मुख लावा ||
Gursikhi So Thaan Bhaleya Lai Dhoor Mukh Lawa
(The Guru's Sikhs seek out that place; they take the dust and apply it to their faces)

ਗੁਰਸਿਖਾ ਕੀ ਘਾਲ ਥਾਇ ਪਈ ਜਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਵਾ ॥
गुरसिखां की घाल थाये पई, जिन हर नाम ध्यावा ||
Gursikha Ki Ghaal Thaae Payi, Jin Har Naam Dhiaava
(The works of the Guru's Sikhs, who meditate on the Lord's Name, are approved)

ਜਿਨੑ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਜਿਆ ਤਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਪੂਜ ਕਰਾਵਾ ॥
जिन नानक सतगुर पूजया तिन हर पूज करावा ||
Jin Nanak Satgur Poojya Tin Har Pooj Karaava
(Those who worship the True Guru, O Nanak - the Lord causes them to be worshipped in turn)

ਸਾ ਧਰਤੀ ਭਈ ਹਰੀਆਵਲੀ ਜਿਥੈ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਬੈਠਾ ਆਇ ॥
सा धरती भई हरियावली, जिथै मेरा सतगुर बैठा आए ||
Sa Dharti Bhayi Hariawali, Jithe Mera Satgur Baitha Aaye
(The place, visited by my True Guru, has also become fertile and beautiful where my Guru had set His lotus feet once)

ਸੇ ਜੰਤ ਭਏ ਹਰੀਆਵਲੇ ਜਿਨੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਜਾਇ ॥
से जंत भए हरियावले, जिनी मेरा सतगुर देखया जाए ||
Se Jant Bhaye Hariawale Jini Mera Satgur Dekhya Jaye
(And the holy saints, who have seen my Guru personally, have also become prosperous with joy)

ਧਨੁ ਧੰਨੁ ਪਿਤਾ ਧਨੁ ਧੰਨੁ ਕੁਲੁ ਧਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਸੁ ਜਨਨੀ ਜਿਨਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਜਣਿਆ ਮਾਇ ॥
धन धन पिता धन धन कुल, धन धन सु जननी जिन गुर जणेया माये ||
Dhan Dhan Pita Dhan Dhan Kul, Dhan Dhan Su Janani Jin Gur Jania Maaye
(The father is praiseworthy the whole family (clan) is blessed, and the mother in fact, who gave birth to such a Guru, deserves all our praise and approbation)

ਧਨੁ ਧੰਨੁ ਗੁਰੂ ਜਿਨਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਰਾਧਿਆ
धन धन गुरु जिन नाम आराधेया
Dhan Dhan Guru Jin Naam Aradheya
(Then blessed is the Guru, who has recited the Lord’s True Name)

ਆਪਿ ਤਰਿਆ ਜਿਨੀ ਡਿਠਾ ਤਿਨਾ ਲਏ ਛਡਾਇ ॥
आप तरेया जिनी डिठा तिना लये छडाए ||
Aap Tareya Jini Ditha Tina Laye Chhadaaye
(And crossed this ocean of life Himself along with all those persons who attained salvation by having a glimpse of the Guru)

ਹਰਿ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਮੇਲਹੁ ਦਇਆ ਕਰਿ ਜਨੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਧੋਵੈ ਪਾਇ ॥
हर सतगुर मेलहु दया कर, जन नानक धोवै पाए ॥
Har Satgur Meloh Daya Kar, Jan Nanak Dhovei Paaye.
(O Nanak! May I seek a union with such a Guru through the Lord’s Grace so that I may wash the lotus feet of the Guru myself)

ਹਰਿ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਮੇਲਹੁ ਦਇਆ ਕਰਿ ਜਨੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਧੋਵੈ ਪਾਇ ॥
हर सतगुर मेलहु दया कर, जन नानक धोवै पाए ॥

The Guru Granth Sahib (Punjabi: ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ, pronounced [ɡʊɾuː ɡɾəntʰᵊ saːhɪb]) is the central holy religious scripture of Sikhism, regarded by Sikhs as the final, sovereign and eternal Guru following the lineage of the ten human gurus of the religion.

Guru Granth Sahib was bestowed the Guruship by the last of the human form Sikh Masters, Guru Gobind Singh Ji in 1708. Before passing away, Guru Gobind Singh Ji decreed that the Sikhs were to regard the Granth Sahib as their next and everlasting Guru. Guru Ji said – “Sab Sikhan ko hokum hai Guru Manyo Granth” meaning “All Sikhs are commanded to take the Granth as Guru”. So today, if asked, the Sikhs will tell you that they have a total of 11 Gurus. (10 Gurus in human form, and the eternal Shabad Guru, the Guru Granth Sahib).
