The Struggle NEVER ENDS! (NZ Kayak Fishing)

Hello and welcome to Basic Fishing from New Zealand. My recent kayak missions shown has not been so successful and it has been a struggle to even find kingfish on the kayak, let alone hook into them. However after a while I decided to focus my attention on getting some snapper and when my usual method didn't work, I decided to change it and used smaller sized softbaits, sizes I don't usually use. I had a lot of fun catching snappers on the smaller softplastics in the shallows and those made a huge differences for me. Really hope that my next kingfish mission will finally be successful as I wish to land kingfish...
