Countertenor Bejun Mehta sings the role of Bertarido in Händel's Rodelinda. King Bertarido is missing and assumed to be dead. Just before this aria he returns to his kingdom and finds a tombe with an inscription dedicated to him. He sings about his love for Rodelinda, his wife and asks himself 'Dove sei': where are you?
