Meshuggah - Phantoms - Drum Cover by Simon Schröder

Описание к видео Meshuggah - Phantoms - Drum Cover by Simon Schröder

Phantoms is my favorite track from Meshuggah´s new record "Immutable".
The Polyrhythms are crazy in this - actually the code I wrote down for the first part of the song (until 2:20) reads like this:
434, 333, 433, 443, 433, 343, 344, 343, 334, 334, 434, 333, 333, 433, 343, 344, 343, 334, 334
-- The numbers are groups of 16th notes that are played against a 4/4 Half Time Groove --

Still this track has a very nice flow! And the instrumental ending always gives me the chills - it's perfect.

Cheers and ask questions if you have some!

I want to thank Martin Schnella for doing such a great job with the mix again.
