Bounce Rate in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) - Engagement Rate

Описание к видео Bounce Rate in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) - Engagement Rate

In this Google Analytics tutorial, we will be learning how to check Bounce Rate in Google Analytics (GA4).

How do you view Bounce Rate in Google Analytics 4 (GA4)? In this video, you will learn how to understand if people stay on your website or quickly decide to leave using the new engagement metrics available in Google Analytics 4.

Traditionally if we visit our blog page, we read all the way to the bottom and leave again, which would be classed as having bounced because we didn't interact with the page.
That is Bounce Rate in Google Universal Analytics. but Bounce Rate in Google Analytics 4 is missing.

In Google Analytics 4 we can see that the bounce rate column is no longer available. Instead, we can see other metrics based on engagement such as Engagement Rate, Engaged Sessions, Engaged Sessions per User, etc.

The engagement rate within Google Analytics 4 is trying to take a more positive spin on what bounce rate was. By a more positive spin, we mean that Google Analytics 4 is trying to put more emphasis on what users do when they were there.

So, the bounce rate is gone, but don’t worry. Engagement rate is here, and actually, I think probably it’s a better way of measuring how people interact with our page and how good your pages are.
