During my last visit to Udaipur I spend a lot of time there and here is a quick list of the best places to see / things to do in Udaipur, Rajasthan.

1. City Palace
2. Monsoon Palace
3. Gangaur Ghat
4. Boating at Lake Pichola
5. Ahar Cenotaphs
6. Karni Mata Temple
7. Rooftop/Lakeview Restaurants
8. Shop in the local markets
9. Bahubali Hills
10. Day trip to Kumbhalgarh Fort

👉 Best Time to visit is Winters: November to February, but Udaipur is also amazing in the monsoons. It is also less crowded and less expensive at that time.
👉 Try visiting major attractions (like City Palace) early morning or late in the evening, they can get very crowded. Avoid weekends.
👉 Karni Mata Temple is great for a sunset view!
👉 Although lake-view restaurants are more famous in Udaipur, I liked rooftops more, because you can see the lake and get a birds eye view of the city at the same time!
