The first Sharing Space session launched at St Raphs Estate, with a fantastic turnout of around 100 residents including children, and young people -all enjoying an evening of activities, connection, and skill-sharing.

Activities included apple pressing, basic DIY (which the young people especially loved, getting hands-on with building and creating), a toy swap and clothes swap, leaf art, and other arts and crafts. Local residents prepared delicious food to share, and there was also energy-saving advice and guidance from the Green Doctors.

Asif Zamir, Chair of the St Raphs Voice, said:

“It was a huge success. We’ve never had this level of engagement before — it was really positive.”
