This video uses my DNA match list and the full spectrum of maternal and paternal haplogroups to reconstruct the geographic regions most compatible with my genetic structure. By analyzing the distribution of Y-DNA and mtDNA lineages across my matches, I reveal how my ancestry forms a global pattern connecting Northwestern Europe, West and Central Africa, the Indigenous Americas, the Caucasus, Southern Europe, and the Eastern Mediterranean.

The Eastern Mediterranean region—known historically as the Levant—plays a central role in this analysis. The Levant is the ancient corridor that includes present-day Israel, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, and parts of southern Turkey. In population genetics, the Levant is one of the most important cradles of human civilization, carrying lineages such as J1, J2, and E1b1, which appear heavily in my DNA matches. These lineages are associated with ancient Israelites, Phoenicians, Canaanites, and early agricultural societies.

My DNA map shows that my autosomal relatives cluster exactly in these regions, and their haplogroups replicate migration patterns recorded in ancient genomes from Motza, the Jordan Valley, the Caucasus, and the Viking world. This description synthesizes all geographic signals found in my match list, revealing a deep multi-regional identity written directly in my DNA.
