Danush started year 2020 with his super hit move 'Pattas'. Pattas movie is directed by R S Durai Senthilkumar and got released for Pongal 2020. After Pattas, Danush is in Karthik Subbaraj movie named as D40 before and another movie with Pariyerum Perumal fame Maari Selvaraj.

Danush is always trying different characters which will win many awards. Recently he acted in Vada Chennai and Asuran movie which had an intense characterisation. He already acted in Bollywood movies and tried in Hollywood movie too. Now, he brought two famous
hollywood actors for his new movie D40.

Karthik Subbaraj movie's motion poster and first look was released on 19 February 2020. D40 movie is named as Jagame Thanthiram. Director Karthik Subbaraj is a big fan of superstar Rajinikanth and named this movie with the words from a classic song in 1979 movie Ninaithale Inikkum in which Kamalhasan and Superstar Rajinikanth acted together in this superhit movie.

Jagame Thanthiram movie's motion poster was revealing the title and character look of Dhanush. There is a big dining table in red color and many gangster were sitting on the Chair and some of them standing behind. Danush was sitting with different style in the middle chair with Orange Coat and rotating the golden globe with his right hand. There were lot of eatables on the table which is arrange for a feast. This picture is named as 'The Last Supper' which is a famous painting of Leonardo Davinci.

Jagame Thanthiram movie is going to be a Mass Gangster movie with Black comedy as his previous movie 'Jigarthanda'. Malayalam actor Aishwarya Lekshmi and Sanchana Natarajan are pairing with Danush. Joju George, Kalaiyarasan, Chinni Jayanth, Vadivukkarasi and Raams also acted in this movie.

Hollywood star James Cosmo a scottish actor who acted in legendary movies like Brave Heart, Troy, Narnia and Ben Hur and another hollywood star Vauxhall Jermaine a British actor who acted in Rig 45 and Peter Rabbit movies also joined in Jagame Thanthiram movie.

Jagame Thanthiram will be released in cinemas on May 1, 2020.
