This year, the Karnataka Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Exam was held in the month of March / April. The coveted Karnataka 10th Board Exam began on 30th March with first language paper and concluded on second language paper on 13th April 2016. Since the last day of examination, students have been waiting with bated for the SSLC Result 2016 Karnataka.

This year, a total of 4,50,451 candidates have appeared for the examination this year. The number of examinees has increased from the previous years. In the year 2015, 3,67,928 candidates had registered for the examination and in 2014 a total of 2,77,205 candidates had given the examination. Alongside the number of examinees, the pass percentage too is increasing exponentially.
Since past four years, the trend for pass percentage has been increasing. Since 2012, Karnataka SSLC result has been witnessing an increase in the pass percentages. The number of qualified candidates has been 77.85%, 79.34 %, 84.67% and 89.72% in the year 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 respectively. Taking this trend into consideration, the pass percentage for Karnataka SSLC result 2016 is expected to be 93%.
