SEGA Out Run Arcade Long Play - Every Stage, All Five Finishes - OutRun Longplay

Описание к видео SEGA Out Run Arcade Long Play - Every Stage, All Five Finishes - OutRun Longplay

When you hear SEGA many will think of Sonic the Hedgehog. Older gamers might recall classics such as Golden Axe, Altered Beast or even the first appearance of Lara Croft.

But for me, SEGA was responsible for kick-starting my love affair with motor racing and driving games. No game developer produced a wider variety of driving games than SEGA. F1, Ralling, Nascar, Indy Car, Touring Cars, GT Cars, Le Mans Prototypes, Street Racing, Super Bikes, Motorcross, Hot Rods....even a crazy taxi or two.

As part of a look-back video I've been making I played every SEGA arcade racing game from 1979 to 1999 over a couple of months. Most of those games I grew up with, many of them I still play, a couple I'd never heard of. I played each game through to get footage for that video, but before I release it I'm uploading long play videos from 12 of the featured games, showing each from start to finish.

This video is for one of the defining games of the genre and needs little introduction. Out Run, released in 1986 and made available for a huge range of home games machines, including the original on Sinclair ZX Spectrum I still own. Join me on a nostalgic trip as I head across all fifteen stages and complete each of the five possible route finishes.

I'm a 44 year old gamer with lots of other demands on my time so I only get a few hours a week to race these days. I use a Fanatec CSL Elite wheel and pedals mounted to a Wheelstand Pro. I'm not a world class driver, nor do I take things too seriously. I'm just a happy amateur doing what I can with what I have.
