Dr Binoy John MD DM FACC FESC FCSI FSCAI FAPSIC, Senior Consultant Interventional Cardiologist and Specialist in Heart Failure & Advanced Cardiac Diseases, Chennai, India is a nationally & international renowned cardiologist. He is currently Visiting consultant with Fortis Hospital, Chennai and has held the position of Director & Head Department of Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Heart-Failure and Advanced Cardiac Diseases, Miot International, Chennai & Chief Consultant Interventional Cardiologist, Rela Institute, Chennai. He is known for performing complex angioplasties for calcified blocks with rotablation and also other complex angioplasties as Bypass graft angioplasties and many more. He is especially renowned for performing complex valvotomies in term pregnant women. He underwent observership in Cedars Sinai Medical Centre, Los Angeles in Heart transplant medicine and heart-failure and also TAVR and Mitra-Clip procedures. He has also performed innumerable pacemaker, ICD and CRT implants. He is an invited speaker and faculty with several national and international conferences and has authored several chapters in cardiology text-books. He is also the recipient of awards for Best Interventional Cardiologist Tamil Nadu 2020 and Best Interventional Cardiologist and Specialist in Heart failure 2021.
