Why Wolverine and the X-Men Was Darker Than You Thought

Описание к видео Why Wolverine and the X-Men Was Darker Than You Thought

Here's a video on the semi-forgotten Marvel show Wolverine and the X-Men, and how it portrays a possibly protofascist society slipping further and further into disaster. Prescient warning or dark fantasy? My opinion is the former. Also, sorry for the black bars - the only video source I could get my hands on for this cartoon was in this format. Hope you enjoy the analysis, and let me know what you think of it!

After the destruction of the X-Mansion and the disappearance of Charles Xavier and Jean Grey, Wolverine and Beast must rebuild the X-Men to stop mutantkind's extinction. Reuniting classic members like Kitty Pryde and Iceman, as well as new ones like Emma Frost, and coming into conflict with adversaries such as Magneto, Trask, Mystique, and many more, the race is on - can the X-Men stop the sentinel project and figure out what happened to Charles and Jean before it's too late?
