Casting 1630 Resin Into Alginate

Описание к видео Casting 1630 Resin Into Alginate

In this tutorial we explain some tips for casting TC-1630 casting resin into a 590 alginate mold. This process can be used to create resin cores for prosthetic molds or artistic hand casts for display. 1630 is a relatively inexpensive resin so it is a great way to produce resin parts from an alginate mold. As mentioned in the video, TC-1630 is ideal for this process because of its resistance to moisture. Other resins may not work for this process. Also, 590 is a fairly "dry" alginate so it does not retain too much excess water that might contaminate a cast.
