Lachung | Zero Point & Yumthang Valley | North Sikkim | Lachung River| Travel With Pinkpebble

This is my second vlog of Sikkim and the cab cost around 3000 to 5000 to drive from Gangtok and it will take 5 hours to drive, we have reached Lachung last night and the stay cost per day is 1000 to 2000 (depends on the choice of accommodation) Make sure to take permit for Lachung from travel agent in Gangtok.
In this Episode, I have covered my Day-2 : Start early, visit Zero Point, Yumthang Valley, Lahcung River and Lachung Monastery return to hotel in the evening, Incase, you reach early and want to go to Gurudongmar next day, you can either do overnight drive to Lachen or start early the next day. We stayed one day extra just to relax in Lachung
How to Prepare/What to Carry? Zero point can be really cold in winters, if you have not carried enough warm clothes, you can rent an overcoat, a pair of gloves and snow boots from Yumthang market. Carry all your medication particularly for any high altitude sickness and make sure to carry cash as there are no ATMs.
