MCC Panel Design - Electrical Engineering Software

LT Electrical panel estimator or you can call it LT Electrical panel board design software. This software is very useful for electrical engineering software students. You can design any electrical panel like - MCC or Motor Control Center, PCC or Power control center, PLC based control panels, Starter panels like DOL starter, Star Delta Starter, VFD based starter panels, APFC or Automatic Power Factor Controller Panel or any other industrial electrical panel. Apart from this you can also design small distribution boards or DBs for domestic and commercial applications.

This panel design tool is very simple to use and can be operated in manual and auto mode. In auto mode you just have to select the number of columns required and number of feeders required in each column. Change bus bar location if required. Select riser and cable allay if required. This way you define the panel frame structure. Then you select the type of panel you want to design like PCC or MCC or a PLC based automation panel. Once you have defined your requirements the panel design tool will search the components from the data libraries. It has embedded libraries of top 20 electrical component manufacturers. These libraries contains information about the components like switch gears and accessories. Once the automatic search for components is complete you can add the components to the bucket. Before adding the components to the bucket you need to select the feeder in which you want to add those components. Like if you have selected the DOL starter then all the components searched and displayed in the Grouping section would be added to one single feeder. So you can add these grouped components in more than one feeders as per you design requirements. Also you can add ACB or MCCB as incomer. The incomer has to be added in a separate feeder. You can also add mains indicators, voltmeter, ammeter and a frequency meter with the incomer. Very user friendly MCC Panel Design.

Once the components have been grouped and added to component bucket you can get general arrangement drawing of the panel. Just press Generate GA button. On the screen you will see the process of designing the panel. This tool will add feeder doors, door knobs, lifting hooks automatically. In the final process the software tool will resize the panel as per user entered width and height of panel. An easy to operate MCC Panel Design software tool.

When the designing part is complete you can generate Bill of materials or BOM, estimation & costing sheet, bus bar calculation sheet, sheet metal calculations sheet, back view of panel, Single Line Diagram or SLD. Make SLD with MCC Panel Design software tool.
