On this day in 1946, the bikini swimsuit was introduced in Paris. Here is a British Movietone report showing the transformation of bathing costumes from 1900 to the Atomic Age.

Bathing costumes through the ages were recently displayed in Munich. The transformation from 1900 to the Atomic Age is truly atomic.
