Cast on Shock Spark/Conduit Archmage vs. Handsman

Описание к видео Cast on Shock Spark/Conduit Archmage vs. Handsman

After my first few weeks of no reading about builds, I had a look at what everyone else was doing. I am a bit surprised that nobody seems to be opting for a sceptre.

With a sceptre, you can fit all kinds of fun stuff in the build, whether you want utility, defenses, recovery or offense. When my gear was worse, I ran with both Cast on Shock as well as Cast on Crit. When my gear got better, the two started looping each other, triggering constantly once I got to rares/bosses, so I couldn't handle the mana cost.

Sceptres also give the malice aura, which gives the crit weakness. As a result, I get almost crit capped + 300% multi from maligaro's.

My gems are still level 19 and I am not very sure about my current support setup. I just wanted to show that a non optimized sceptre setup can throw out some lovely 10m crits!

I am currently running the main Spark as more of a support link:
Spark - Arcane Tempo - Shock Siphon - Inspiration - Energy Barrier - Acceleration

Orb of Storms is for debuffs:
Orb of Storms - Considered Casting - Overabundance - Overcharge - Lightning Exposure - Strip Away

Cast on Shock is for damage:
Cast on Shock - Lightning Conduit - Elemental Focus - Rising Tempest - Impetus - Inevitable Critical

Archmage with Clarity

Also using Conductivity and a low level Voltaic Mark as debuffs. Conductivity with Cursed Ground, so I can place it before a fight

Last 120 spirit I swap around a lot. I haven't decided yet. Right now, I am running with blink in main setup and Elemental Invocation:
Elemental Invocation - Ball Lightning - Flame Wall - Frostbolt - Conduction

The point of the setup is that you can choose if you want to focus your damage on the clear ability and triggers for support or vice versa. During the recording, I used Skeletal Cleric x3 to be able to use Minion Pact support. It is a fun option for 40% more damage. With the setup above, I get 24% more damage through rising tempest after invocating, as well as some utility and more shocks.
