River Smallmouth Fishing || Nothing But Ned Rig

Out for a little redemption, fishing for river smallmouth on the same stretch I fished 3 days prior. 3 days prior I caught some smallies but also lost 3 really nice ones, fishing with my 5'6" light action rod. That rod just didn't have the backbone I needed to get a good hook set on the big girls. Today I brought my dedicated Ned rig rod, and did it help to bury that hook deep on these river monsters.
