Here is the next installment in the "Budget Friendly Wind Controller Setup" video series..
Playing chords and lead using one iOS synth.
Layr has 128 voices on an iPhone, 256 voices on an iPad.
I am using 4 instruments for the pad sound with a total of 14 layers (unlimited layers per instruments).
Playing a 6 note chord triggered from the soft step pedal uses 84 voices for the pad sound. The lead sound has 5 instruments with 11 layers for a total of 95 voices. The CPU goes between 45-60%.
That's on an old iPhone 5s!
