I explore JANAKPUR 🇳🇵Amazing City of NEPAL

For this vlog I went to discover JANAKPUR, a city located in the south of Nepal,
in the Terai region.
Janakpur is the ancient capital of a Kingdom called Mithila.
Its culture is important and the influence of the Hindu religion is predominant.
I walked in the city, visited the temples including the one of Janaki, an architectural marvel built in honor of Ram and Sita, key figures in Hindu history. I was also able to meet many people, militant women of the Mithila culture and dessert pastry chefs.
I could also see the train in the only existing station today on Nepalese territory.

Janakpur is a city apart. A superb discovery!
