Florida Trail Hike to High Bluff Campsite in The Green Swamp Wilderness Preserve

Hiking part of the Florida National Scenic Trail through the Green Swamp Wilderness Preserve towards the High Bluff Campsite on the Withlacoochee River. Along the way I crossed Devils Creek into the swamps where I came to a nice gem of an area along the trail where you can experience scenic bluffs and rock outcroppings. Often referred to as "Baby Grand Canyon" along this section of the Florida Trail near Otter Pond on the Withlacoochee River. Some of the most beautiful places I've seen with flowing rapids, wildlife and a peaceful spaces. There are many other trails and off paths to explore here as well. It is an ancient place of wonder where the river has cut through and shaped this landscape for hundreds and thousands of years.
