"The standing-room only crowd was treated to the great and awesome force that is Vashon as it hammered Trinity 70-53 in a Class 3 quarterfinal Saturday at historic Viking Hall on the campus of Normandy High. Missouri-bound Mario McKinney scored 14 points, handed out four assists and threw down an incredible double-pump two-handed jam that shook Viking Hall to its foundation. Fletcher showed why he's a highly regarded talent in the junior class. The 6-foot-7 swingman scored 24 points, grabbed 14 rebounds and blocked two shots. Senior guard Donyae McCaskill scored 15 points and had five rebounds." -David Kvidahl
