This scene from Reply 1988 is where Jung Hwan gained huge respect in my eyes and I started loving him to the fullest, as a character!


You know sometimes a scene from a movie/show sticks to you and you happen to think about it in your day to day life and just cry, as you feel the sea of emotions which you had felt while watching it, just by thinking about it, that pretty much shows the kind of impact that particular scene had on you and this was one such scenes for me. I think about it a lot and feel my eyes tearing up!


What are your thoughts on this scene?


P.S. Even if you are #TeamTaek ( which I am), you cannot dislike Jung Hwan, honestly nobody who has ever watched Reply 1988 can dislike or hate a well written character like Jung Hwan. He was a great friend, a great son, a great brother and a great human being. He was someone who would show his love rather than confess it outright to someone but Deok Sun, a normal girl with insecurities wanted and needed someone who can tell her that she looks beautiful and she deserves to be loved and that was Taek all along, I know #TeamJungHwan is goanna come at me, but this is the fact.
