How to Trim a Footbed

Описание к видео How to Trim a Footbed

A trim to fit insole will provide increased stability within the ski boot providing your customer exactly what they want, which is toe room and heal hold. Once you have properly determined the size, follow these simple steps to trim the insole.

1. Remove stock insole from the ski boot

2. Center the stock insole on top of your Sidas insole making sure its flush in the heal and centered at the forefoot.

3. Trace a line around the stock insole with a pen. A marker will add extra unneeded length.

4. Using a nice pair of scissors or carpenter sheers, cut along that traced line to correct the length of the insole so it fits nicely inside the liner.

5. Next, triple check that the insole properly fits your customer’s foot. Then slide the insole into the liner so that is properly seated and confirm there are no wrinkles or twisting on the insole.

6. From here you are good to go!
