Since 2013, the WIA-Europe Rome Local Group (WIA-E Rome LG) is working to create a fruitful and safe network where everyone can share experience and information, for female and male students and professionals in the Italian Aerospace sector. We provide support to the young generation and seniors in shaping the future and promoting space programs. The return of our investment is represented by growing numbers of members (today around 160), with affiliates from Rome and other Italian cities and old/new Italian participants working in other countries. We offer events about aerospace and gender diversity themes, both on site and on digital platforms.

The idea behind this video was conceived by a younger group of the WIA-E Rome LG to thank the group’s co-leaders, Cristina Valente (Head of Institutional Key Account Management – Marketing and Sales in Telespazio) and Annamaria Nassisi (Manager Strategic Marketing for Observation, Exploration and Navigation in Thales Alenia Space ) for their motivation, coaching and mentoring.

Without our Local Group and our Leaders’ example and effort, we would have never built such a strong and rich group!
