Ingredients:

• 1 lb of lean turkey
• 2 small shallots (chopped)
• Dried parsley
• Cilantro paste
• 1/2-1 cup of all-purpose flour
• 1/2 cup of beef broth
• 1 egg
• 1/2 cup of butter
• 2 tablespoons of minced garlic
• Lawry’s seasoning salt
• Black pepper
• Ground thyme
• Kingsford Louisiana’s All-Purpose Cajun seasoning
• Pink Himalayan salt
• Mrs. Dash table blend seasoning
• Garlic powder
• Onion powder
• Tony’s
• Beef bouillon powder

Instructions:

1. Mix the turkey with all the seasonings, parsley, cilantro paste, chopped shallots, and egg. Make sure it’s well combined—use gloves if you want to keep things tidy!
2. Form the meatballs, using your palm as a size reference, and get them ready for the skillet.
3. Heat a 10-inch skillet with butter, and cook the meatballs until they’re golden brown. Remove them from the skillet and set aside.
4. Now, deglaze the skillet with beef broth to capture all those delicious scraps and crusts—that’s the base of your gravy!
5. For the gravy, add the flour and more butter to the skillet, stirring until a doughy paste forms. Slowly mix in the rest of your broth and stir until the gravy thickens. Add in dried parsley and cilantro paste for that extra flavor kick.
6. Toss the meatballs back into the skillet and let them simmer in the gravy for 10-15 minutes. Serve with your favorite sides, and enjoy!

Trust me, this is one dish you and your family will love! 🥰 Don’t forget to listen to your ancestors when seasoning—mine always let me know when it’s just right! 😆🙌🏽
