The proceeding against Israel in The Hague is described as a legal debate, but if you examine it more thoroughly, it is quite clear that it is part of a broad influence operation against Israel to undermine its legitimacy to fight – and even to exist. From a legal point of view, we are right and the accusations are ridiculous, but from a cognitive perspective, Israel has been associated with the term “genocide,” and this is already real damage.
