Normal coactions extend to the C*-envelope

I will discuss recent work with Chris Bruce and Adam Dor-On in which we show that a coaction on a not necessarily self-adjoint operator algebra extend to its C*-envelope. This allows us to compute the C*-envelope in many instances in the setting of left-cancellative small categories.
