Tuba Skinny play the popular tune composed in 1927 by W. H. Butler. Plenty of gems here. Note, for example, the remarkable pattern (inspired by the Louis Armstrong Hot Five recording) sustained by the rhythm section when backing Shaye's solo chorus, from 02:48 to 03:28. Also, like Armstrong, Tuba Skinny play the tune in the key of C, rather than taking the easier option of Bb, as many bands do. Royal Street, New Orleans. 16 April 2018.
