'We Run Them' Ed Skrein ft Graziella & Dubbledge

Inspired by East London based running collective Run Dem Crew; 'We Run Them' was created by Run Dem Crew member, actor and rapper Ed Skrein as 'music to train to'. This song and video provide a unique insight into London's urban sports collectives. These are London's street athletes, passionate about training in 2012 with the Olympics on their doorsteps. The video was shot at Run Dem Crew's Shoreditch HQ, Nike 1948 and features members of the crew. Sportswear & location was provided by Nike 1948.

Ed Skrein, runner, rapper, and actor, made his name as an MC working with Foreign Beggars, Plan B and Asian Dub Foundation. He has recently found creativity in Film, acting in Kieron Hawkes thriller 'Piggy', Nick Love's re-make of 'The Sweeney' alongside Ray Winstone, and most prolifically starring in Ben Drews 'iLL Manors'. Sport and Music are lifelong passions of Ed's; in 2009 he swam the Channel, in 2011 he cycled from Lands End to John O'Groats. Ed co-directed and co-produced this video and brought in Graziella (Scarlett Lowe, Miss Frank, Driving Lolita) and Dubbledge (Lowlife & Dentedrecords) to help convey the message.

Run Dem Crew is a collective of creative heads with a passion for running and the exchange of ideas. They meet every Tuesday in the Nike 1948 concept store in Shoreditch to run and explore the streets of London. Formed in the winter of 2007 by DJ, poet and writer Charlie Dark, as an alternative to traditional stuffy running clubs, Run Dem Crew is committed to change and the upliftment of the next generation.
