Tejashwi Yadav Takes Charge as Bihar's Deputy Chief Minister

Rashtriya Janata Dal ( RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav’s son Tejashwi Yadav took charge as Bihar’s PWD Minister here on Monday. Post taking the office, Tejaswi emphasised that development of Bihar is his priority.

“We had told people that we want to see Bihar as a modern state. My department is related to infrastructure, I will focus on improving road connectivity and it should reach even remotest of the villages. We have to increase the pace of road development”.

“I will sit with the officers and discuss with them about the ongoing projects, funds, and then chart out a plan for future. Development of Bihar is my priority,” he added. Tejaswi, on Friday, was appointed as the Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar and was also given additional charges of three portfolios in the new cabinet.
