The Cempaka Spartan Race is an adaptation of the iconic global obstacle course event “Spartan Race”. It consists of a number of obstacles that will test the participants both physically and mentally. In pursuit of becoming “unbreakable” students will be challenged in ways that no other events will challenge them. The Cempaka Spartan Race is a part of the Junior First House Cup and the First House Cup.

Popular with its extreme and unique challenges, the Spartan Race for secondary students has been a part of our program since 2019. Students face obstacles such as army crawl, log flip, sandbag carry, monkey bars, rope climbing, tyre flip, spear throw, laser shooting, jumping over fire and more.

An interesting fact is that since its inception, the Spartan Race (Secondary) has only been won by Rumah Helang.

We believe in nurturing Cempakans to have strong bodies and minds as well as to have the ability and determination to conquer any obstacle that stands in their way. Events like Spartan Race are some of our tools in making this mission a success.

Cempaka Spartan Race is a school event, open to Cempaka Schools' students only. The event is organised for education purposes and not for profit.
