This scene is so special:) But it’s really heartbreaking too. I just don’t get it. Miss.Collins acted like Carries friend and acted like she really cared about her. Standing up for her and then she went along with everyone else and laughed at her, not to mention she was saying to Tommy that he would look ridiculous if he showed up to Prom with Carrie and Sue saying they didn’t care how they look.

Also telling Carrie she could trust her and how she acted in this scene. It’s heart wrenching that she completely abandoned Carrie and went along with everyone else. This is what people do. They hurt and traumatize others and they have no true love in their hearts. All Carrie wanted was a friend and someone she could talk to and trust. Miss.Collins is just such a awful person.

I always felt like I could identify with Carrie. I was bullied out of my high school right before Prom and graduation and I had to leave school over a guy who did some really evil things to me and got other kids involved also, so much like Carrie. I also had a guidance counselor who I thought really cared about me too, like a “Miss.Collins”.

I would go to her and talk to her when I had no true friends around up till the very end when I had to leave school and get a tutor to finish my studies at another location outside of the high school. “Mrs.Eves” I thought was so sweet and so loving and she abandoned me also.

I was put through hell by so many kids and I believe even some staff (teachers) were in on it to. Everyone knew what they were doing to me, they all are guilty. Not one person all of these years later has ever reached out to me to see how I was doing or even apologize to me. Not one. Shows how disgusting so many human beings are in this life.

I was truly one of the most beautiful kids in that school beyond anyone else and they all could see it. Just like Carrie. She was so pretty and so full of love yet so deeply hurt and traumatized. Just like me.
