Majida El Roumi | مرايا - مقابلة مع ماجدة الرومي

شاعرة ومطربة لبنانية تأثّرت منذ الطفولة بوالدها الموسيقار اللبناني حليم الرومي الذي كان وراء إكتشاف أسطورة الغناء فيروز. انطلقت ماجدة من "ستوديو الفن" في السبعينات، وكان أول تسجيل لها ترتيلة كنسية بعنوان "ميلادك" ثم أغنية "عم بحلمك يا حلم يا لبنان". تُعد من أشهر الفنانات العرب، وقد تعاونت مع المخرج المصري يوسف شاهين في فيلمها الوحيد "عودة الإبن الضال". غنّت للعديد من الشعراء والملحّنين وأمام العديد من الملوك والرؤساء وفي المهرجانات الكبرى في العالم العربي. أُطلق عليها لقب "ملاك الطرب العربي" للدلالة على تميّز صوتها ورقي فنّها.

أوجد برنامج "مرايا" أسلوباً جديداً أكثر رقيا للحوار المتلفز، ومن خلاله نجح ريكاردو كرم في أن يقدّم لجمهوره حوارات كشفت الكثير عن الحياة الخاصة لأكثر من ٢٠٠ شخصية عربية وعالمية، فحققت أعلى نسب المشاهدة آنذاك، وصار البرنامج محطة ينتظرها كل راغب في التعرّف الى فصول من حياة تلك الشخصيات وكشف ما خفيَ منها.

Majida El Roumi, born in 1956, is a Lebanese soprano and a national symbol. She is the daughter of the Lebanese musician Halim El Roumi. She first garnered acclaim in 1974 when she participated in the talent show "Studio El Fan" on Télé Liban and performed songs for Asmahan and Layla Murad at the age of 16. In 1991, Majida released "Kalimat" (words), her first pan-Arab hit. Majida stood twice on the Paris Olympia stage: first time in 1993 and the second in 1998, in addition to many other international stages such as the Athens Concert Hall in Greece and the Royal Albert Hall in London, in addition to many others. Majida is a UN Goodwill Ambassador.

“Maraya” took the basic Arabic talk show to new levels where Ricardo Karam explored the personal life of over 200 important guests while gaining the highest television ratings for a show in this category.
