Herbert Wigwe was more than a banking colleague to me, apart from banking we share about 6 broad activities. He chose my first child to be on the board of Wigwe University. It's almost as if the purpose of his life was not just to build a bank but to pull resources from there to develop and focus on where he thought he would make a major contribution like a world class university in Nigeria. The team he has left behind on the Wigwe University project will be more committed now than when he was alive.
