The Corniche is one of the most important tourist attractions in the city of Tartus, where tourists come to enjoy the view of the beach and the sea.

The corniche was designed to symbolize the first Phoenician ship that sailed the Syrian shores, carrying with it the message of the alphabet to all parts of the earth.
