Hey! Welcome to HOWZA channel! In today's lesson, you will learn how to change or replace shape color in Microsoft Word.
Open Microsoft Word or the Word file you need.
Go to Insert tab at the top panel. Click on Shapes. Select the shape you need. Draw a shape on the page. We will add few shapes to show you how to change or replace a shape color.
Select the shape you need. Click on Shape fill at the top panel. If you want to change the color just select the new color you need from the panel.
Select the shape you need. Click on Shape fill at the top panel. If you don’t see the color you need select More Fill colors from the list. New window will open. Choose the color you need and click Ok.
You can add a gradient to the shape. Select the shape you need. Click on Shape fill at the top panel. Select Gradient from the list. Choose the gradient style you like to apply it. Before applying the gradient, change the shape color to the one you need.
You can add a color as the background for the shape. Select the shape you need. Click on Shape fill at the top panel. Select More Fill colors from the list. New window will open. Go to Standard tab. Select the color you need and click Ok.
The last but not least, you can use texture as a background for the shape. Select the shape you need. Click on Shape fill at the top panel. Select Texture from the list. You will see a list of different Options. Select the one you like to apply it.
