So I realized that the end of June 2020 will mark two years since I started my game dev journey. For my one year video I went through a list of all of the systems I had created and did a short demo of each. However, I find I now have near double the systems of what I had a year ago.

For my two year video I know that I will have to explain each of the systems and my general plan for the game moving forward. In addition, I want to give some background as to what has lead me to start learning gamedev with no programming or art experience.

From watching different devlogs I found that most indie game devs have some kind of relevant game dev background whether it be in game design, general programming, modeling, art, etc. I'm sure there are some out there that don't, but the majority I have watched do have some kind of relevant experience. I think my experience/motivation comes solely from playing games growing up lol.

For this video I fooled around making an NPC generator which will improve as I get better at 3D modeling, rigging, animation, etc. It randomizes the colors and Blendshapes of a created model before creating the next one. I have a lot of ideas still and the possibilities are really endless as I can eventually generate the following:

Name
Clothes/Equipment
Colors
Likes/Dislikes
Personality/Dialogue
Attribute/Stats (Strength for Woodsman or Intellect for Wizard)
Mood
Reputation

I also wanted to test the Audio with this video so ensure all is clear when I try to explain everything in my upcoming videos, especially the two year video which is probably going to be very long...
