The Best DIY Shower Bathroom Cleaner using DAWN DISH SOAP & PURE WHITE VINEGAR | Simple Living

The importance of home as our sanctuaries where we feel safe & a place to relax. I've come to appreciate my home even more so in the past year. For this reason, instead of racing through the chores, I'm carving out ample time to get them done, enjoy the process & be more mindful of the cleaning products I use.

A year ago, I learned about this recipe & when I tried it, I was impressed by how effective it was. There are many versions, but it's been my experience that this ratio of dish soap, vinegar & essential oil works well without too many soap suds, easy to rinse. I use it to:
Remove soap build-up on shower glass & ceramic.
Bathroom sinks.
Toilet Bowls
Spray on shower walls, glass shower door & leave on for a few minutes or up to 1 hour. I usually use a sturdy sponge like The Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Sponge, wipe down & rinse with hot water. I do this every two weeks & my shower stays clean.

Here's the recipe that has worked well for me:

2/3 cup White Pure Vinegar
1/3 cup Blue Dawn Dishsoap (I think it will work well with your favorite dish soap, too); give it a try if you can't find DAWN soap.
25-30 of your favorite essential oil. I love any CITRUS SCENT.
