Faraz Ahmad Tahir, was martyred in Australia when an Australian man attacked him with a knife in a shopping mall in Bondi, one of Sydney, Australia’s most well-known locality.

He was originally from Rabwah. In 2018, he migrated from Pakistan to Sri Lanka. After staying there for four years, he came to Australia through UNHCR.

This sacrifice which he made shows that he did not leave Pakistan for fear of death, rather he left the country because he had grown weary of the religious restrictions placed upon Ahmadis; where they are stopped from saying even the name of Allah and His Messenger (sa).
