Cinderella by Brothers Grimm

Описание к видео Cinderella by Brothers Grimm

The tale of "Aschenputtel" is a German version of Cinderella, written by the Brothers Grimm, Jacob, and Wilhelm. It was first published in "Children's and Household Tales" in 1812, which is a significant collection of German folklore. In this version, unlike Charles Perrault's narrative, there is no Fairy Godmother. Instead, there is a wishing tree that grows on Cinderella's mother's grave.

This particular version was published in the UK in 1909.
