Описание к видео 'An introduction to gene therapies for Rett Syndrome' Dr Daniel Lumsden: LEAP Day Talks

Gene therapy is a medical technology that researchers are studying to see if it could lessen or even reverse the symptoms of Rett Syndrome.

Dr Daniel Lumsden, who you'll hear from in this video, is a consultant paediatric neurologist and the lead neurologist at the Rett Syndrome specialist clinic at Evelina Children's Hospital.

In this video, Dr Lumsden introduces you to gene therapies for Rett Syndrome.

On June 1st 2024, Reverse Rett held the Learn Advocate Educate and Prepare day in Manchester. The purpose of the day was to share the most recent research information we have, and connect Rett families with researchers.

To that end, we've uploaded all talks from the day to YouTube.
